Schedule: Lama Dawa Rinpoche will explain how to set up a Buddhist shrine and perform the eight outer offerings. We will be using a short text written by Dudjom Lingpa. Sat. July 24 Rinpoche will give the verbal transmission and instruction on how to perform this important incense (sang) offering. Sang offerings are powerful ways to increase one's 'lung-ta' (success energy), and are used to purify the pollution of the five elements. They can be done as a daily practice, or on special days. The Riwo Sangchod practice comes from the Rigdzin Sogdrub lineage and has become one of the most prevalent and widely practice incense offering in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Sat. July 24 The Tashi Yang-gug is a special practice that is performed to increase wealth energy. It is also from the Rigdzin Sogdrub lineage and is typically practiced together with the Riwo Sangchod. In this teaching, Lama Dawa Rinpoche will give the verbal transmission and instruction on how to perform this activity. Sun. July 25 The 100-syllable mantra of Vajrasattva is a core mantra that is practiced in all sects of Tibetan Buddhism, and is the most prevalent mantra used for purification. In this teaching, Lama Dawa Rinpoche will explain the meaning of each syllable and discuss the best ways to use this mantra. Sun. July 25 This special Dzogchen instruction was the last teaching that Guru Rinpoche gave to Yeshe Tsogyal before he left Tibet. It was his heart advice to her about how to practice and has become a 'pith' instruction for Dzogchen practitioners. Suggested donation for each teaching $25 For information and directions, please contact orgyen Rigzin at: tseltz007@aol.com |

Fleischmanns, NY Drub-Chen Retreat! This two-week 'Drubchen' (great accomplishment practice) of the practice of 'Lama Orgyen Khandro Norlha', called "The Fertile Shower of Fulfilling All Wishes', is a tantric rite from the Dudjom Ter. It is a powerful method for capturing the essential wealth of all of samsara and nirvana by means of the Guru, the God of Wealth, known as Orgyen Norlha. Orgyen Norlha is the inner aspect of Guru Tsokye Dorje, the Guru of the Three Roots of the Dudjom lineage. This practice is especially effective for capturing, restoring and increasing the energy of 'yang' or wealth. Wealth in this sense not only refers to monetary wealth, but to anything that has value in our lives - the richness of vibrant health, nutritious food, clean environments; the prosperity that comes from the creative forces of the universe, the richness of friendship and community, the wealth that comes from inner peace and happiness, as well as material prosperity. As the world is now plunging deeper into economic crises and hardship, the need to to strengthen yang and restore lost yang is greater than ever! Lama Dawa Rinpoche lead the two-week drubchen of Black Hayagriva, 2008.
A prototype of the treasure vases that are being made. The 'eight auspicious symbols' are inscribed on the sides. Treasure vases serve as the 'ten' or container for the wealth energy. If you are unable to attend the Drubchen, but would like to acquire a Treasure Vase, you can reserve your vase ahead of time for $300. If you are interested in reserving a Treasure Vase, please contact Kunzang. Remaining vases will be available for purchase for $350 after the Drubchen.
Arrangements were made in Nepal to make the pills, which include over 150 precious substances, relics, and other rare ingredients. Each pill is then wrapped with yellow silk fabric that was used to drape the sacred Buddha statue in Kushinagra.
You must plan to arrive before noon on Oct. 16 for room assignments and to complete the registration process. Please contact the retreat coordinator if you are interested in attending this retreat: To Attend this Retreat: You must apply and register in advance for this retreat. This is a strict boundaried retreat, therefore all participants must be prepared to abide by the rules of closed retreat, which means no communications - phone, email, voicemail, text messaging, etc., during the two weeks that the boundaries are up; and no leaving the premises. Registrants must have received refuge, and bodhisattva vows and have received empowerment of Guru Rinpoche, preferably Orgyen Norlha. Preference will be given to those who have completed the Dudjom Tersar Ngondro. Prior retreat experience is reccommended. This will be very intensive and involve 24-hour shifts of continuous mantra recitation (which means we don't get much sleep), and a lot of sitting. Payment Info:

For this drubchen, we will be preparing and consecrating specially made Treasure Vases that are filled with precious substances. These treasure vases have been prepared according to the traditional texts, under Lama Dawa Rinpoche's supervision, including arrangements in Nepal to make 'yang' pills that contain hundreds of precious and rare substances that have been collected by great lineage masters. These pills will be placed inside the Treasure Vases along with other substances that are related to the generation of wealth energy.
